Product Guide
Choose the Right STUDIOFINIX Speaker
The best speaker depends on where you will use it, how much space you need to cover, and whether you want a powered Bluetooth system or passive speakers connected to an amplifier.
1. Start with the installation area
- Patio, porch, or garage: Choose wall-mounted outdoor speakers for focused coverage and easy placement.
- Garden, pool area, or landscaped space: Choose outdoor rock speakers that blend into the surroundings.
- Boat or dock: Browse marine speakers designed for wet, sunny environments.
- Home or commercial installation: Explore ceiling and in-wall speakers with a compatible amplifier or controller.
2. Powered Bluetooth or passive?
Powered Bluetooth systems include amplification and are convenient when you want to stream directly from a phone or tablet. Passive speakers require a compatible amplifier but offer more flexibility for multi-speaker and multi-room installations.
3. Choose a suitable speaker size
- 3.5–4 inch: Compact coverage for balconies, small patios, and focused listening areas.
- 5.25–6.5 inch: A versatile choice for most patios, pools, garages, and medium outdoor spaces.
- 8 inch: Better suited to larger backyards, open areas, and installations that need stronger bass.
4. Check the weather rating
Always match the product's stated IP rating to the installation area. Weather-resistant products still need correct placement, mounting, and cable protection. Follow the specific product instructions and avoid exceeding the conditions shown on the product page.
5. Before you buy
- Measure the listening area and planned mounting distance.
- Confirm whether power and speaker wiring are available.
- Check whether the package contains a single speaker, a pair, or a multi-speaker system.
- Match the speaker impedance and power requirements to your amplifier.
- Choose a finish that suits the installation area.
